Golden Flame was a highlight of our trip to Colorado Springs. We're always on the hunt for good wings (in particular lemon pepper) and Golden Flame delivered. The vibe inside was energetic with football on several TVs, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The food we received was delicious - especially the lemon pepper wings. Beers and soda were cold and tasty too. Would come back next time we're in the area!
Absolute BEST WINGS in Springs!!! Hands down. Let me preface with the fact that my husband and I are loyal locals to the original Golden Flame w/Carlos in Aurora, and have been going there for almost 20 years. (Also, DO NOT bother with the Powers location...they bring shame to the name.) Given our high expectations, they were exceeded here & the GOTG location has stolen our hearts! We almost cried when everything came out piping hot & piled high, we knew we were home. The wings here are HUGE, fried perfectly with lots of sauce, the garlic fries are to-die-for and crispy, the sauce selection plus their “golden ketchup” concoction is stupid good. Go for Cool Flicker or Golden Flame on sauce, simple but unique classics & you can’t go wrong. Love the owners & staff, all are super friendly, it’s always extremely clean and a very easy going atmosphere with tons of TVs. Our fave spot to watch football & hockey with a bomb ass meal!
I have ordered here nearly 10 times and they haven’t missed yet. Very friendly staff happy to let you try all the sauces, clean restaurant, and their wings are absolutely delicious! This place is fantastic.

Rick welcomed us with the friendliest greeting and made our visit so enjoyable. He is attentive, informative, and a joy. The food is absolutely amazing! It was our first time dining in, and it was worth the stop. New favorite stop when in town! The flavor of the food is incredible and will blow your mind. They have in house made ketchup. I highly recommend the stop!
If you read any of my other reviews you’ll see I love chicken wings. Golden Flame sets the bar higher in Colorado Springs. There’s yet to be a place within the city limits I’ve found that delivers this good on all fronts. The chicken wings themselves are good sized, crispy, deliciously sauced, and FRESH. Buffalo Wild Wings ain’t got NOTHING on this place. Pictured is the sizzlin shanghai, garlic fries, and the flamin sauces for wings. Sampling the sauces is a must, that way there’s no chance you gamble on a sauce you may not like. The servers here are attentive and pleasant. Really cannot say enough about the place. I will be back :)
I think I found a new favorite wings place. I love that this place has so many choices on sauces and dry rubs. You even have several different choices on fries as well. And to top it off, a bunch of beers on tap. It’s a terrific place, perhaps a little quiet in decor and atmosphere but they make up for it in quality of food. So great and I can’t wait to return.
Went this location that was further out but had better reviews. It was a great decision. The place was very clean, to include the bathrooms and the service from entering the establishment until we departed was top notch. The wing options were plentiful and well seasoned and as a bonus they offer samples to try before you buy. Great choice that will not be a disappointment.
